“Ra.One” is the biggest dream project of Super Star Shah Rukh Khan. It is produced by Gauri Khan under the banners Eros International Ltd and Red Chillies Entertainment. This is written and directed by Anubhav Sinha. This “Ra.One” Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Shahana Goswami and many others.
The Screenplay is by Anubhav Sinha, Kanika Dhillon, Mushtaq Sheikh and David Benullo. The Music is scored by Vishal-Shekhar duo. Cinematography is by Nicola Pecorini, V. Manikandan. Sanjay Sharma and Martin Walsh have done the Editing.
“Ra.One” seems to be the costliest projects in the Bollywood. More than 190 Crores has been spent for this movie. This is basically a Super Hero flick, in which, SRK is the Super Hero.
The making of this film commenced nearly 2 years ago. SRK has invested lots of time and huge amount of money. This is basically about the clash between the good and evil forces.
“Ra.One” is basically about Jeevan (Shahrukh Khan). He is working as a Software Engineer in Miami, US. He possesses a Video game villain RA.ONE. he always attempts to defeat his game villain RA.ONE. What all negative things happen and how evil forces are controlled forms the crux of the movie “Ra.One”.
It is to be mentioned that, Director Shankar was the first person, who came out with the idea about the India’s first Robot film. He met SRK and shared his idea. But, SRK was not able to work in that film, at that time. Later, after lots of cast changes, Shankar made this film with Super Star Rajinikanth. It was released under the name “Robot” in Hindi and “Endhiran”. SRK was surely disappointed over missing out the chance to act in such a movie. So, he later wanted to make such a film. Then, he decided to make “Ra.One” with some changes to that old story and is coming out with this “Ra.One”.
“Ra.One” refers to “Random Access: Version 1.0”. It is being made as a tri-lingual venture in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. This Sci-fi movie features lots of Computer graphics.
“Ra.One” features many cameo appearances from lots of Artists like Super Star Rajinikanth, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and many others. Apart from them, this also features the voice-over of Amitabh Bachchan. The movie features two tracks sung by Akon, the International Music Icon.
This “Ra.One” is getting released in Indian languages like Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil and there are plans to release this “Ra.One” in German also.
It is to be released in around 3,200 screens worldwide.
“Ra.One” is slated to be released on October 26th 2011.
