The ‘Gays’ search is on for ‘Dostana 2

“Dostana” was the film produced by Yash Johar and Karan Johar. It was directed by Tarun Mansukhani, which released in the year 2008. This featured Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. This was a big Hit and the works are on for making the sequel.
The sequel is named as ‘Dostana 2’, which is to be produced by Karan Johar. It is directed by the same Tarun Mansukhani who directed the prequel. There are few hiccups in proceeding with this film. Now the search is on for the leading Stars who could play the Gay characters against the lead Heroes Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham.
This film features full-length gay roles. Considering the sensitivities involved in the roles, none of the leading Heroes are ready to accept the offer. The makers had approached leading Heroes like Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Riteish Deshmukh and Dino Morea for the gay characters. But, none of them has accepted it.
One more reason for Dostana 2’s delay is due to the script also. As Producer Karan Johar wasn’t impressed with the previous script, Director Tarun Mansukhani had reworked on the script. Now, the problem is both Abhishek and John are not too much happy with the newly reworked script. The Director is caught up in a tight situation.
