Will Karthi Come Out of the Controversy?

Actor Karthi is one of the most successful young heroes in Tamil cinema. The actor is loved and appreciated by both the audiences and the filmmakers for his superb acting and humble being.
The clean-imaged actor recently got into a controversy by making unwarranted comments in a film function in Hyderabad. While speaking at the dais in the function, the actor said that he liked the Telugu audience that they come and watch films in theatres and also appreciate film works whole heartedly. The people in Kollywood sharply reacted to the comments of the actor and demanded an apology for degrading Kollywood audience. But, the actor responded, “I did not mean to degrade Tamil films and Tamil audience. I just said that Telugu audiences watch films purely for entertainment purpose unlike Tamil fans who are very sensitive and emotional and attached to their heroes and films”!
In spite of his immediate reply the Kollywood filmmakers and the fans are still not satisfied with the actor’s response and have demanded an apology for degrading Tollywood saying, “Just to please Telugu industry he cannot degrade Tamil. He meant what he said. He should make a public apology for the words he uttered”! Will Karthi come forward with an apology and end the controversy?
