Why Team ‘Mankatha’ Not Celebrating 100th Day?

‘Thala’ Ajith’s big film ‘Mankatha’ that was released on August 31st is completing 100 days in December. While the cast and crew are happy about the response that the film has been receiving the producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies has announced that there will not be any celebration for the film’s 100-day running.
The reason that the producer says is, “Ajith sir is busy in the shoot of his film ‘Billa 2’ and it is difficult for him to allot time to be here for the function. Also, Ajith sir has a policy that he will not attend any film function. With this, we cannot have the celebration of 100th day without the hero of the film. It won’t look nice that way. That’s why we have intended not to celebrate the completion of 100 days”!
‘Mankatha’ featured Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Vaibhav, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Premgi Amaren, Mahat and Ashwin in the lead roles and the film was directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shankar Raja had scored the music. The film had a grand opening and created opening box-office records. The film is still running in theatres with good number of audience’s attendance.
