Vijay’s ‘Nanban’ with Sun Pictures?

‘Nanban’ is one much anticipated movie of this year. The film that is seeing its release on 12th of January has already started its advance booking in theatres.
Now, the big news is that unconfirmed reports say that Sun Pictures has already signed a deal with the producers of the film, and nobody is sure whether it is the theatre rights or the satellite rights or the both that the media giant has bought regarding the film! Industry is wondering that how a Vijay film could enter into a business when the former Chief Minister Karunanidhi family and the actor are already at loggerheads! But, the news is not yet confirmed and will be known soon!
‘Nanban’ is the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’. The Shankar directed Tamil film features Vijay, Ileana, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and S J Suryah in the lead roles. Harris Jayaraj has done the music. The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit.
