‘Vijayanagaram’, A Film with a Social Message!

‘Vijayanagaram’ is a new Tamil film that has a new story that is told with a big social message. The story tells about ‘Vijayanagaram’, a place where educationist start liquor business and the liquor barons start running schools.
Thanvir, a former assistant of writer-director Bhagyaraj is writing and directing the film that has Sivan (of film ‘Koti’ fame’) and Hasini (of ‘Arumbu Meesai Kurumbu Paarvai’ fame) in the lead roles. Banuchander, Anuradha and Dora play other prominent roles. S N Arunagiri scores the music and R H Ashok handles the camera. The shoot is on in Chennai and Sholingar, near Chennai.
S M K Productions, a new production company is the producer. The film is likely to see its release in March - April 2012.
