Vasanthabalan’s ‘Aravaan’ in Release Trouble?

Vasanthabalan’s most expected film ‘Aravaan’ is already completed and is ready for release now. But, the makers of the film is yet to announce the probable date for the release of the film, and reports are coming out with different reasons for the delay in the release of the film.
Sources close to the filmmakers say that the film is yet to get distributors to release it in theatres. But, producer T Siva says, “The film is completed and we are negotiating with the distributors and if possible we would release it ourselves. But, even then the release will happen only in February 2012 as for Pongal two big films – Shankar’s ‘Nanban’ and Linguswamy’s ‘Vettai’ - are releasing.” Director Vasanthabalan says, “some post-production work is still left and once it is over we will release it soon”
‘Aravaan’ has Aadhi, Dhansika, Pasupathy, Archana Kavi, Bharath, Anjali and Kabir Bedi in prominent roles. Music is scored by Singer Karthik and produced by Amma Creations.
