UTV Acquires Rights of Suriya Launched Chetan Bhagat Book ‘Revolution 2010’

Revolution 2020: Love, Corruption, Ambition is the last book that popular writer Chetan Bhagat has released. The book is already been sold 8, 00,000 copies in one month. The book was launched in Chennai by actor Suriya, who is basking in the success of his recent release A R Murugadoss directed ‘7aam Arivu’!
The latest is that UTV Motion Pictures has acquired the film rights of the story to adapt it in their future project. The film will be made both in Bollywood and also in the south. It was widely discussed that Suriya may play the lead in the Tamil film that will be made adapting the story of the film.
Chetan Bhagat’s novels ‘Five Point Someone’ and ‘One Night @ the Call Center’ were already made as films. ‘Five Point Someone’ was made as Aamir Khan starrer ‘3 Idiots’ and that is now being remade as ‘Nanban’ in Tamil directed by Shankar and featuring Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ieana, Sathyaraj and S J Surya in the lead roles. Mr. Bhagat’s another novel ‘Two States’ is also being adapted for a film made by Vishal Bharathwaj. Mr. Bhagat’s other best-selling novel is ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’!
