Simbhu’s Film ‘Osthi’ in Release Trouble?

Simbhu’s film ‘Osthi’ is slated for release on 8th of December and when the makers of the film is all set to release it on the scheduled date a roadblock has come on its way putting the film’s release on the scheduled date in question.
The makers have sold the satellite rights to Sun TV, the channel that is already in a warpath with the Tamil Nadu Film Exhibitors Association on the issue of the payment of dues to the theatre owners. As the association has already decided not to exhibit the films those Sun TV purchases the theatre release or satellite rights, now ‘Osthi’ is also in trouble since the film’s satellite rights has been bought by Sun TV. It seems the Association will not cooperate in releasing the film until Sun TV pays the dues.
Already the title of the film ‘Osthi’ is questioned by some political and linguistic organization whether the word is a pure Tamil word or not? And, this recent release issue has only added to the worrying of the producers and Simbhu fans.
