‘Nanban’ is ‘Ilaya Thalapathy’ Vijay’s next big release. The mass hero, who is still basking in the success of his recent release ‘Velayudham’ that is running to house-full halls with good box-office collections, is all gearing up to see the next big festival ‘Pongal’ also a special one with his next film ‘Nanban’ releasing on this day!
Yes, ‘Nanban’ will be seeing its release on Pongal day! The film’s Telugu version is also being simultaneously released. And, ‘Nanban’ in Tamil is titled ‘3 Rascals’ in Telugu. The filmmakers are hoping ‘3 Rascals’ will also have a grand opening with Ileana, who has already got a big name in Telugu, doing the female role. Vijay and Jiiva have also got a good number of Telugu fan following in Andhra. Director Shankar’s commercial value in Tollywood is known to everyone with all his previous success records in Telugu land.
‘Nanban’ is a remake film of Bollywood blockbuster Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘3 Idiots’. Along with Vijay and Ileana, ‘Nanban’ features Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and S J Surya in the lead roles. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music.
