Yes, Kamal has expressed in casting his close friend Rajinikanth in his dream project ‘Marudhanayagam’, the film that was started and shelved 15 years back. In 1997, Kamal Hassan started his magnum opus in a big way with Queen Elizabeth from UK inaugurated the shoot in Chennai during her India visit.
The project was shelved after filming teasers and some scenes with the reason that the film would require a big budget to meet its mega production. Kamal has felt that this is the right time that he would start his shelved project.
The multifaceted star has said that wants to rope in Rajinikanth for one of the characters in the film as he thinks only Rajini could do justice to that character.
If things work as per the wishes of Kamal then it is definitely a feast for the filmgoers and for Rajini and Kamal fans they could not ask for more than this!
