The much awaited film Pandiraj’s ‘Marina’ is releasing today.
The film tells the story of the lives of children working on the sands of the beach of Marina, Chennai.
TV host Siva Karthikeyan debuts in films with ‘Marina’, as hero, and ‘Kalavani’ Oviya plays the female lead. A host of children, some picked up from the beach itself, are playing prominent roles in the film. Jayaprakash and Gautham Purushoth have also done vital roles. A big line-up of stars including Sasikumar, Prakash Raj, Ameer, Sneha, Vikram and Vimal has done guest appearances for a song in the film.
After his ‘Vamsam’ this is Pandiraj’s next film. He has not only directed the film also produced it under the banner Pasanga productions. Debutant G Girishh has scored music for the film. Cinematography is done by new comer Vijay.
