Murder Case Against Comedian Vadivelu!

The 2011 Assembly election and the subsequent change in the Government in Tamil Nadu turned the whole fate of comedian Vadivelu upside down. He was sidelined in the industry and when he was giving a re-entry into the industry with the film ‘Mambattiyan’ that is releasing today another blow has struck in the name of a murder case filed against him.
Pandeeswari of Madurai has accused the actor of murdering her husband Velusamy, who was working with Vadivelu as Manager in the year 2009. She has stated that Velusamy committed suicide when he was working with the actor and she suspected Vadivelu’s hand in the death as the body was cremated without postmortem being done. She has also stated in the petition that she had made complaints with Home Secretary and DGP that time and no action was taken by them and she had approached the court. The High court has asked the respondents Home Secretary and DGP to file their reply.
Vadivelu has done a pivotal role in ‘Mambattiyan’ that features Prashanth, Prakash Raj and Meera Jasmine and directed by Thiagarajan.
