Mani Ratnam and Vijay at the Audio Launch of ‘Urumi’ Today!

The audio launch function of the film ‘Urumi’ is being held today at Sathyam Cinemas. The function is being graced by the Kollywood biggies like Mani Ratnam, A R Murugadoss and actor Vijay. Others prominent personalities from the film including Santosh Sivan, Prabhu Deva and Prithviraj are also attending the function.
The film that was released early this year was a big hit in Malayalam. It was later released in Telugu and declared a huge hit in Tollywood also. Now, the blockbuster is being released in Tamil.
‘Urumi’ is written Shankar Ramakrishnan and produced and directed by Santosh Sivan. The film features Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia and Arya in the lead. Deepak Dev has scored the music for the film. The film is about the story of the warrior clans of Northern Kerala and the arrival of Vasco Da Cama in India in the 16th century.
