She was introduced in Dhanush’s ‘Mappillai’ and captured hearts with her bubbly performance in Prabhu Deva’s ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’. Next came ‘Velayudham’ with Vijay, a big success for this young actress.
With her noted characters and films Hansika is rising up slowly and steadily aiming that Numero Uno position. Yes, despite her earlier films not been well received the actress is been approached by big filmmakers for their films as the actress has carved a niche for herself in the industry with her bubbly character and also got a place in the hearts of Tamil audience. “Though my earlier films were average grosser my characters made big marks. And, I want to do more roles like this that shows my acting talents. I will do films with a story that gives importance to my character and I have decided I will do only two films in Tamil in a year,” says the actress.
Hansika is currently finishing her ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ with Udhayanidhi Stalin and filming ‘Vettai Mannan’ with Simbhu.
