Director Linguswamy on His ‘Vettai’!

‘Vettai’ is one of the films that has been much discussed and much awaited film in this season. The director of the film Linguswamy is all high about and talks about the film.
“‘Vettai’ is the film that I enjoyed the most in making. We as a team all stayed together in a bungalow in Karaikudi. Staying together really worked for bringing out scenes well and you can see the chemistry on screen. Madhavan and Arya’s chemistry was the best and they really became brothers. I wanted to cast Vijay in Arya’s role after deciding Madhavan but that did not happen. The song ‘Pappa papa…’ is one of my favourites of my films. The visuals have all come well,” says Linguswamy. When quizzed why his company was named Thirupathi Brothers he says, “It is the name of our grocery store at Kumbakonam,” he smiles.
‘Vettai’ has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala 
Paul in the lead and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. Thirupathi Brothers has produced along with UTV Motion Pictures. The film is releasing on 14 January.
