Dhanush’s soup song ‘Why this Kolaveri’ took the nation by storm by becoming a super duper crazy hit and sung by everyone irrespective of language and regions.
Now, the song has got another use! Yes, it is now being used in the election campaigns in the state of Uttar Pradesh where the state is reeling under the fever of Assembly elections. The ‘Kolaveri’ tune with Hindi lyrics is played in public gatherings by the supporters of Anna Hazare criticizing the politicians and their corrupt practices. And, the song is also cheered with huge reception from the locals!
It is sure yet another honour for the team of ‘3’ that the song is now being played even in the interior villages of the country. ‘3’ is the film in which the song is featured. Dhanush and Shruti Hassan play the lead characters in the film that is directed by Aishwarya Dhanush.
