South Indian Cine Artistes’ Association aka ‘Nadigar Sangam’ is seriously thinking of banning actresses wearing revealing clothes in film and public functions. This proposal came to the thought of the ‘Sangam’ after a series of events that saw many top heroines and other actresses attending the functions in very glamourous costumes like low-neck attires and mini-skirts revealing their body parts.
The ‘Sangam’ is also contemplating of putting restrictions on unwarranted speeches made by guests and other attendees in the events to avoid conflicts and controversies.
It may be mentioned that the irritating sexy attire of Shriya Saran that she worn for Shankar directed superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Sivaji’ film function was heavily criticized by media and film personalities. And, the trend of wearing these revealing costumes by actresses continued even after that and this has now made the ‘Nadigar Sangam’ to think about putting a blanket ban on this!
