Another Powerful ‘Arundhathi’ Role for Anushka in ‘Irandaam Ulagam’

‘Arundhathi’ was the film that made Actress Anushka a star overnight with the powerful role that she played in the film.
The actress never repeated that sort of powerful performance in her films after that.
And, her upcoming film ‘Irandaam Ulagam’ will now see Anushka in a role similar powerful character to that of the role she did in ‘Arundhathi’. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan, whose recent release Dhanush’s ‘Mayakkam Enna’ was a hit.
‘Irandaam Ulagam’ is also a thriller made in the lines of Selvaraghavan’s magnum opus ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. Arya play the male lead in the film and Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music. Selvaraghavan has already started the shoot of the film at Ramaji Rao Film City, Hyderabad and it is progressing well, sources say.
