Actress Roja is celebrating her birthday. The actress is turning 39 today!
She was born in Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh in a Reddy family. She entered films with her Telugu movie ‘Prema Tapassu’. Director R K Selvamani’s film ‘Sembaruthi’ was her first Tamil film. She became a successful south actress after delivering big hits in Tamil and Telugu with almost all top heroes. ‘Uzhaipaali’ and ‘Veera’ with superstar Rajinikanth, ‘Raasaiah’ with Prabhu Deva, ‘Suriyan’ with Sarathkumar and ‘Parambarai’ with Bharathiraja are her prominent Tamil films. Currently she is acting in Karthi’s ‘Saguni’ and Linguswamy’s ‘Vettai’!
The actress married her longtime boyfriend and mentor R K Selvamani and also entered politics. She is currently in YSR Congress!
