She was once ruling the roost as one of the top heroines of Tamil cinema. All of a sudden the tall and gigantic lady of south industry saw a downward trend that she started losing films in all the industries of south, especially Kollywood.
‘Ilaignan’ was Namitha’s last film that she did in Tamil and after this she was not even approached by any of the Tamil film makers for any film. The actress who had taken a permanent house in Nungambakkam, Chennai vacated and shifted to Mumbai. Now the actress is back in Chennai and to the same house. Yes, Namitha is back with a bang in Tamil films. “I’m back in Chennai as a new woman with a rejuvenated body, mind and soul,” says the actress.
She is currently acting in few Kannada and Telugu films. And, very soon she will sign new films in Tamil, sources close to her say.
