The Press Meet of the film ‘Poraali’ was recently held at Prasad Labs, Chennai. Cast and crew from the film participated in the meet and spoke about the content and making of the movie.
Director-actor-producer M. Sasikumar, director-actor Samudrakani, actor Allari Naresh, music director Sundar C. Babu, Cameraman Kathir and choreographer Dinesh participated in the event.
M. Sasikumar said, “This is my fourth film as producer. We have brought in artists from Malayalam and Telugu industries. You may ask why we should bring artist from other industries. It is the quality of Tamils that we welcome and take care of other language people. That is what I have done. I thank everyone who has worked in this film. The movie has come well under the able direction of Samudrakani. Audio release will be held next month. Thank you all!”
The director of the movie, actor-director Samudrakani also delivered an emotional speech saying, “This film is a story of every ordinary man who struggles to survive and fight against the evils in the society. You can see yourself in the characters of this film. Sasikumar has put a dedicated performance in the film with long hair and beard. ‘Porali’ will be liked by everyone and would become a hit film like ‘Nododigal’.
The film features M. Sasikumar in the lead role. Allari Naresh, ‘Subramaniapuram’ Swati, Nivetha, Vasundra and Ganja Karuppu play other prominent roles. The film is directed by Samudrakani and produced by M. Sasikumar’s Company Productions. Music is scored by Sundar C. Babu.
