‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi’ Press Meet!

The team members – the major cast and crew of ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi’ met the press this week and talked about and answered the queries of the scribes.

The hero of the film Siddharth was the one who spoke at length about the film. He said how director Mohan Balaji’s short film in the same title impressed him and made him to co-produce the movie as he always wanted to do a script like this.

The producer of the film Sasi of Y Not Studios praised director Balaji’s work in the film.

Director Mohan Balaji told the press how the opportunity of directing the film came to him through cameraman Nirav Shah and how Siddharth and Sasi of Y Not Studios took him as director having big confidence in him.

Seeing the short film on Youtube, cameraman Nirav Shah asked Mohan Balaji to meet him and took him to producer Sasi of Y Not Studios with 120-page script written by Balaji. Sasi was impressed by the script and accepted Balaji his director. Siddharth was also impressed with the short film and when approached immediately accepted the protagonist role and also jumped in to co-produce it.

Amala Paul, who plays the heroine in the film, did not attend the function.

‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi’ has Siddharth and Amala Paul in the lead role and Mohan Balaji directing it. Music is by Thaman and the film is produced by Y Not Studios along with actor Siddharth. Camera work is done by Nirav Shah.

The film is almost completed and expected to get released in February – May this year.
