Actor-director-producer M Sasikumar and actor-director P Samudrakani are coming together again and this time it is ‘Porali’ that the former is playing the protagonist and the latter has wielded the megaphone for the film.
The music album of the film features six songs. ‘Yaar Ivan’ is the first song sung by Shankar Mahadevan and written by Na. Muthukumar. The song is repeated in the album with the voice of Chinmayi. This one portrays the character of the protagonist in the film.
Sasikumar and Samudrakani have also turned singers with this film as they have recited some parts of the lyrics for a song ‘Vidhiye Potri’. This song is sung by Senthildas and the lyrics are written by Yugabharathi. The song tells about the life and how it takes people in different directions.
A peppy number comes next with the voice of Velmurugan and Thanjai Selvi. The lyrics of this song ‘Vedipottu…’are written by Kabilan. The right tune to dance and enjoy.
Next is ‘Engirunthu…’ rendered by Chinmayi. A good melody!
The theme of ‘Porali’ is the last track that soothes and also stimulates our soul with the perfect composition of instruments by the music director Sundar C Babu.
The album is worth buying and worth listening.
