‘Mouna Guru’ music album has only four songs and an additional track but all are very intensely packed with the required emotions that are needed for the song and mood.
The first song is ‘Pudhupunal’, written by veteran lyricist Vaali, is a mix of old and new tunes and beats. The song is sung by Rajith, Rahul Nambiar, Sam and MLR.
The next song ‘Karthikeyan’ is tuned in lines with the classic hit ‘Jambulingame Jadadhara’ from the Black & White era movie ‘Kaasethan Kadavulada’ but lyrics are written anew by Vaali.
The third one is ‘Yennayidhu’ is written by Na. Muthukumar and sung by Rahul Nambiar, Ranjith, Rita and Ramya.
The fourth song ‘Anaamika’ is written by Karky and sung Karthi and Harini.
The last one is the theme music of the film.
The music of the film ‘Mouna Guru’ is tuned by Thaman.
The film features ‘Vamsam’ fame Arulnidhi and Iniya, who debuted with ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’. The film is directed by Santha Kumar and produced by M K Tamilarasu of Mogana Movies.
