Vijay’s ‘Nanban’ Audio Released!

On 23.12.11, all roads in Coimbatore led to Hindustan College where the grand audio launch function for the film ‘Nanban’ was held with the attendance of a galaxy of stars and high celebrities gathered at the venue.
The stage itself was set differently to suit the film’s youthful storyline. The audio was launched with the presence of film’s director Shankar, Vijay, Vijay’s father S A Chandrasekar, Prabhu, Harris Jayaraj, Sathyaraj, S J Suryah, Jiiva and Srikanth on the stage.
The crowd, who had also gathered for the Live in Music Concert ‘On The Edge’ of Harris Jayaraj, went crazy when Vijay took stage and spoke his words sharing about his ‘Nanban’ men and the shoot experience. He spoke high about his director Shankar praising him as India’s Steven Spielberg. Shankar said that he wants people to forget about his previous productions and speak on his present films. S A Chandrasekar went emotional by saying the day to be one of his best in his life.
Vijay garlanded Shankar and Shankar put that garland to his guru S A Chandrasekar. Actors Srikanth, Jiiva, Sathyaraj, S J Suryah and composer Harris Jayaraj also spoke at the occasion.
‘Mirchi’ Shiva hosted the event who made the audience to go in splits with his funny lines.
The music album has 6 tracks with lyrics written by Pa. Vijay, Na. Muthukumar, Vivega and Madhan Karky and the album is released by Gemini Audio. The songs are already topping the charts.
‘Nanban’ has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana, Sathyaraj, S J Suryah and Sathyan in prominent roles and Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. The film is produced by Gemini Film Circuit. The film is a remake of Aamir Khan’s Hindi hit ‘3 Idiots’.
‘Nanban’ is getting released on Pongal day, the 14th of January 2012!
